Here at PT Plus Physical Therapy one of our unique services that we offer is Kinesiotaping. Kinesiotaping is a rehabilitation technique that promotes natural healing within the body as well as provides support to the muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. Therapists can target different receptors within the somatosensory system with the Kinesiotape to alleviate pain and facilitate lymphatic drainage. By lifting the skin with this therapeutic method, it decreases inflammation in the affected areas. This tape is designed to support circulation of bodily fluids and blood flow to give patients a full range of motion to perform athletically or in everyday activities.
