Manual Therapy is specified as hands-on techniques used to treat muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints that are underperforming or causing pain. Therapists use their hands to manipulate joints back into mobilization, movements and apply specific pressure to improve muscle activation, and stretching of the muscles.
